New Details on World of Warcraft Expansion

When Blizzards The Burning Crusade expansion pack for World of Warcraft comes out later this year, some big changes are going to take place. The Irvine-based game developer has announced that the two new playable races included in the expansion will feature faction-class crossovers. Basically, this means that the Horde will now have paladins, in the form of Blood Elf paladins and the Alliance will have shamans in the form of Draenei shamans. How is this possible? There is an entire write-up on the official WoW website explaining the circumstances that make a huge shake-up like this legit within Warcraft lore.

This is huge news to WoW players. Now both the Alliance and the Horde will have access to the same player classes. Paladins are considered to be a big factor in why Alliance players generally progress faster and more easily in raids. Now this wont be the case anymore. Many other questions are also raised by this new revelation. Will shamans still have their guaranteed raid slots? Will shaman and paladin buffs stack? You can bet that WoW-related forums across the web are filled with theories, but well probably have to wait for the release of The Burning Crusade expansion pack to get all our answers.
